Rev. Barry Williams

Our pastor is Rev. Barry Williams. He and his wife Denise have three children Anna, Ben and Jared. They are out of West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster, Ohio, and are BEMA ( Baptist Evangelistic Missionary Asociation) missionaries which is located in Columbus, Ohio.

Rev. Williams has been in the ministry for 18 years serving God as a Christian school teacher, a youth pastor, and as a pastor in the state of Ohio. The last 5 years the Williams family has been in Scotland. They started Glenburn Baptist Church (Paisley) in October 1998. Friends, family and BEMA supporting churches helped raise $48,000 to help put a down payment on a beautiful church building for the people in Glenburn. Though the Williams family still help with some of the children's ministries at Glenburn the church is pastored by Rev. Graham Forbes who is from the Glasgow area here in Scotland.

August 31, 2003 the Williams family started their second church in Scotland in the town of Helensburgh with the help from a couple of families in the Helensburgh area who were traveling 40 minutes to the church in Glenburn.
